Family farmers who meet the following conditions:

Are in eligible areas according to the forest zoning: agroforestry production areas, silvopastoral (forest grazing) production areas, or recovery areas.

Have held the area subject to the AC application in a continuous, public, and peaceful possession before July 22^nd. 2011,

Are not currently convicted of any environmental crimes and are not persistent offenders.

Are not listed as persistent offender on the SERFOR National Offenders Registry.

Be authorized to undertake contracts with government authorities.

To not have been the steward of an expired land tenure mechanism.
